My Story

Barb is an award winning Plein Air artist and a member of the Vancouver Art Guild. 

The beautiful natural scenery in Vancouver allows her to pursue her passion of painting en plein air.  She wants her art to reflect the qualities in nature.  Painting outdoors always provides adventure, challenges, and inspiration.  Barb always takes her paints with her when she travels, hoping for painting opportunities. 

Barb’s passion for art started early in childhood.  She has always been interested in drawing and painting.  She started taking classes learning to paint as the Masters did.  She continues to work in the traditional method using oil paints, but also using gouache and pastels.
